April 24th 1965 we got Married at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Christchurch New Zealand
Arriving at the Cathedral, with my bride's maid Margaret Gray. who was from Timaru. My husband's father gave me away and was I ever Bless. to have him with me. Walking with him up the Christchurch Cathedral steps, as I held on to his arm, made me feel so over joyed that I was at long last to be able to call him dad, I had never known any one like him ever again. He was so gently and sweet, and his wife who I called my mother (mum) was honest and kind. I had married into a family, who has lost of love to share and who treated me as their daughter. I then had a brother, My husband's Brian's Brother Graeme, he was a gently man, so loving to his children. I was welcomed by all, of my husband's side of the family .
